T.E.N. Announces Call for Nominations for Information Security Executive (ISE®) Southeast Awards 2010

Applications for Nominees in Executive and Project Categories Accepted Through June 23, 2010

ATLANTA - May 4, 2010 - T.E.N., a technology and information security executive networking and relationship-marketing firm, announced today that nominations are open through June 23 for the ISE® Southeast Awards 2010. Awards presented will include Information Security Executive™ Awards for both Executive and Project Categories.

Nominees, finalists and winners will be recognized at the ISE® Southeast Executive Forum and Awards which will be held on August 11, 2010 at the Westin Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. The Executive Forum includes keynote speakers, interactive roundtables moderated by the CISOs and VPs of participating companies, and panel discussions. It is followed by the Awards Gala where finalists and winners in both categories are announced.

The ISE® Southeast Award for the Executive Category is given to a chief information security executive who has made a positive impact through risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy and information security. The ISE® Southeast Award for the Project Category will recognize an information security project completed in the past 12-18 months that has had a positive impact on an organization’s risk management or information security posture. Eligible nominees are selected from the U.S. Southeast region including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

Executives and/or project teams can be self-nominated in addition to entries by supervisors, employees, peers, or technology partners. Anyone interested in nominating for the ISE® Southeast Awards may download the forms at: www.iseprograms.com/southeast_nominations.asp. In addition to the questions that are to be completed for evaluation by the judges, the nomination form contains information on the history of the awards, judging process, award criteria, and next steps.

Nominations are sent to T.E.N.’s distinguished panel of ISE® judges for review and scoring. The panel of judges typically consists of previous finalists and winners of the ISE® Awards. Judges have the final approval in determining whether an executive or project team is qualified to participate as a nominee at either the regional or national level. Finalists and winners are not announced publicly until the evening of the awards.

Considered by many to be “the premier recognition and networking program for security professionals,” the ISE® Awards Program Series has been recognized as the industry leader in showcasing executives and their teams in the information security industry across the U.S, Canada and Europe. ISE® Nominees and Project teams are recognized through press coverage and inclusion on the T.E.N. and ISE® websites.
