Call for Nominations for the Information Security Executive™ and Project of the Year United Kingdom and Ireland Awards 2008

Achievements by Information Security Executives and Project Teams to be Recognised

ATLANTA - 9 June 2008 - Today the official Call for Nominations for the Information Security Executive (ISE®) of the Year and the Information Security Project of the Year United Kingdom and Ireland Awards 2008 was announced.

The ISE® United Kingdom and Ireland Executive of the Year Award is presented to a chief security officer or executive in an equivalent position who has made a positive impact in the industry through risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy, and information security.

The Information Security Project of the Year Award honours the team behind the project. This accolade is presented to a project team that has successfully completed an information security project in the past 12-18 months that greatly impacted an organisationfs risk management or information security posture.

Achievements will be highlighted in the government/academic and commercial categories. Eligible nominees are selected from the United Kingdom and Ireland region including England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and the Republic of Ireland.

The ISE® United Kingdom and Ireland Nominees and Project Teams are invited to participate in the Executive Forum comprised of cutting-edge roundtables, speakers, and presentations in a relaxed environment that allows industry leaders to interact and network with their peers.
