Drew is the Founder and Chief Strategist for Jminori  a boutique security consulting firm focused on the advancement and discovery of new information security  technology.  Mr. Maness is responsible for strategic planning and working with key clients on enterprise architecture, resource allocation, and strategy execution— which includes monitoring long-term trends and outlook, gathering competitive intelligence, and sustaining innovation at the intersection of security and the forefront of technology.

Drew started Jminori after his time with Bank of America where he was the Senior Vice President of Information Security Architecture.  His responsibilities included managing the Architecture team for the Cyber Security Technology (CST) division of Global Information Security (GIS), a group of 20 senior architects in the development of strategic and tactical roadmaps that balances strategic priorities, managing company controls, and aligning industry best practices such as the NIST Cyber Security Framework and NIST 800-53v4.

Universal Music Group
Mr. Maness has served as Vice President Advance Persistent Threat for Universal Music Group (UMG). Leading UMG Infosec Technology team responsible for the identification and implementation of new security technologies.  Drew reported directly to UMG’s CISO.

Technicolor
Prior to UMG, Drew was Vice President of Security and Anti-piracy for the Digital Content Delivery and Digital Production (TDP) divisions of Technicolor.  Responsible for the protection of customer content and intellectual property throughout over 70 Technicolor sites worldwide.  His role encompassed managing both physical and digital security in the production environments as it relates to content protection, and interfacing with traditional IT and IT Security organizations for network and business security.  Drew was also responsible for the development and coordination of regional strategic and tactical security planning initiatives to reduce risks, respond to incidents and limit exposure to liability.

The Walt Disney Company
Drew has also held roles as Senior Security Strategist for The Walt Disney Company as a founding member of Disney's Enterprise Security Strategy and Policy Group and was they technical lead for Disney’s initial PCI Compliance program. 

Trident Data Systems/Veritect
Before joining Disney, he served as the Director of West Coast Consulting for Trident Data Systems/Veritect, where he spent several years developing their consulting, assessment, and penetration-testing practices. His work included working with VISA in the development of their Site Security Assessments, which later became the foundation for Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards.  He joined TDS as a network specialist, to lead their information security consulting initiatives throughout the western region of the U.S.

Drew holds a number of technical certifications and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).  He has also received his Master of Science degree in Information Assurance from Norwich University.
