Christopher has the pleasure of serving as Chief Information Security Officer for SPX Corporation, a Charlotte-based multinational corporation that operates diversified manufacturing in more than 35 countries employing over 14,000 employees worldwide. With almost twenty years of specific Information Security domain experience, Christopher brings a compassionate and positive tenacity to every interaction, including: presenting to members of the Board of Directors; working with law enforcement; and negotiating compromises among competing demands for security, functionality, and productivity.

Holding his certified information systems security professional (CISSP) certification since 2001, Christopher's career has pathed across Financial Services and Manufacturing industries, being at once student, programmer, tester, hacker, consultant, fool, advisor, and mentor.  He counts his degree in Rhetoric ("Applied English") from the University of Waterloo, Canada to be his most valuable and oft-used learned skill -- 'Bank Robber’ Christopher's best informal job-title.

When not in front if either board (key- or executive-) Christopher can be found away from technology's reach, perhaps under water scuba diving or cycling with a local club out on country roads but most likely at and about town with his first priority, family.
