Vaughn Hazen has served as Chief Information Security Officer at Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold (FCX) since 2012. Prior to joining FCX, Vaughn held several management positions at Solvay S.A. and Dart Container Corp. where he directed Security Operations, Telecommunications Project Management, and Telecommunications Operations. Vaughn received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Wright State University and holds several Security Certifications, including CISSP and CISM. In his spare time, Vaughn serves in the United States Coast Guard Reserve.
