David Hahn is the Chief Security Officer at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB). SVB delivers world class diverse financial services, banking the most innovative companies, and increasing clients’ probability of success. With $51 billion in assets and more than 2,400 employees, SVB provides commercial, international and private banking through 36 locations worldwide. As CSO, David is responsible for the operations of SVB’s cyber security, business continuity, and physical security programs. David has a wide breadth of experience, is a recognized leader in the information security field with more than 20 years of experience. Before joining SVB, he was Vice President and Head of Corporate Information Security and Risk at Hearst Corporation, one of the largest conglomerates in the world. As Hearst’s first CISO, David built the organization’s information security program from the ground up. Prior to that he was at Intuit a leader financial software company with products like Quickbooks, TurboTax and Mint covering Cyber Fraud Management and Security Operations. David also worked for over 20+ years at Wells Fargo Bank, serving as a Senior Vice President and Group Information Security Officer focusing on their Internet Banking.
