Most recently Ms Crickette has been named a Senior Advisor with Hanover Stone Partners, a risk management services firm with expertise in a broad range of critical risk disciplines. Ms. Crickette is also Special Administrator for San Francisco State University, providing oversight of the Risk, Audit, and Environmental Health & Safety departments and implementing financial management improvement programs, among other responsibilities related to the university’s finance and administration services.

During her career, Ms. Crickette has also served as chief risk and compliance officer for AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah, and an officer of Pacific Lighthouse the Club’s captive insurance company. Ms. Crickette served nearly a decade as chief risk officer of the University of California, the world’s largest higher education system, encompassing 10 campuses, five health systems, and a national laboratory. She was responsible for the system’s risk management and healthcare programs, including: enterprise risk management (ERM), health and safety, IT systems implementation and security governance, a ground-breaking self-insured healthcare benefits and wellness program, as well as insurance, emergency management and business continuity. She also was CFO of the system’s captive insurance company (Fiat Lux Captive Ltd.).

She began her career in 1991 with United Rentals (USRentals) and was vice president, Risk Services for 13 years. Along with direct responsibilities for benefits, retirement plans, self-administered claims administration, insurance, safety and security, and internal audit, she led the risk and benefit integration for more than 200 acquisitions.

A graduate of University of Redlands with a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Ms. Crickette earned the CCSA (Certification in Control Self-Assessment), ARM (Associate in Risk Management), SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources), and CCEP-I (Certified Compliance Executive & Professional-International) professional designations. She completed the Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program in financial analysis for business decision evaluation and is completing Harvard Business School’s General Management Program.

In 2011, Ms. Crickette was named as one of Business Insurance magazine’s “Women to Watch” and earned an Information Security Executive (ISE) West & North America Award. The following year, she was named “ISE of the Decade” and Treasury & Risk recognized her among the “100 Most Influential People in Finance.” A frequent speaker and author on ERM and related topics.
