Mignona Cote is the Global Head of Identity and Security technology at AIG.

Mignona comes to AIG from Aetna, where she served as Chief Information Security Officer for Payflex. In that role, she built a world class payment company by merging fraud, security, and payment capabilities. She transformed information security by the implementation of next generation authentication and privilege user behavior analytics to identify fraud attempts, established an architectural framework to standardize and centralize access management and introduced 34 advanced security services into the security program.

Offering over 20 years of management-level experience securing and improvingtechnicaloperations for companies like Bank of America, PepsiCo., Nortel Networks, andVerizonCommunications, Mignona Cote has led the development and execution of securitysolutionsthat improve global networks. She maintains a proven track record of regulatorycompliance,ensuring that best practices coincide with the proper implementation ofemerging andinnovative technology.

Mignona currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Technology Security Coalition (NTSC), Board of Advisors for Capella University and other advisory boards advancing collaboration and education for cyber security. She is a member of the North Dallas chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors and a member of ISACA. Her certifications include Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). She continually presents and teaches on the topics of information security, corporate auditing and risk management.

Mignona holds her Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern State University specializing in Computer and Information Systems and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. She received her Masters of Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana.
