Chevron’s Richard Jackson to Receive Information Security Executive® (ISE®) Luminary Leadership Award 2011

ISE® Luminary Leadership Award recognizes outstanding contributions in information security

Atlanta, GA (October 5, 2011) –T.E.N., a technology and information security executive networking and relationship-marketing firm announced today that Richard Jackson, general manager of global information risk management for Chevron Corporation is the winner of the prestigious ISE® Luminary Leadership Award 2011. Jackson will be recognized for his distinguished service, stewardship, and outstanding contributions in advancing the information security industry. Currently a member of the Executive Committee of the United States Dept. of Homeland Security-sponsored Project Logiic Consortium, Jackson has also served leadership roles as founder and chairperson of the American Petroleum Institute’s Information Technology Security Forum and executive director of the FBI’s San Francisco Bay Area Infra-Gard Chapter. He was awarded the prestigious 2007 Visionary Award by Symantec Corporation and was a finalist in the 2006 Information Security Executive® (ISE®) of the Year Awards, as well as a recipient of Information Security Magazine’s2005 Security 7 Award. As a sought after industry speaker and advisor on IT security best practices, he has appeared at numerous industry conferences and shows. In addition, Jackson is a contributing writer to the “Wiley Handbook of Science & Technology for Homeland Security,” offering a critical guide to scientific research that supports global counterterrorism efforts.
