A father of three and grandfather of six, who has spent twenty years building a regional ISP and another 15 years in corporate Cyber Security. His career started as an educational computer sales rep in rural North Carolina in the late 1980s. In the early 90s, he launched a successful regional ISP and a Cloud Development business, before it was called cloud. After a couple of decades of playing entrepreneur with several business entities, he moved into corporate cyber security, where he now functions as the CISO for NetApp, a company focused on bringing the enterprise-grade data services you rely on into the cloud, and the simple flexibility of cloud into the data center.
