Amanda Cody is the VP of Information Security for National Geographic Partners within Fox Networks Groups. She is responsible for the National Geographic Partners Information Security program which includes a range of functions to include all aspects of business to consumer security, application security, security awareness, and risk management. Prior to joining National Geographic in 2015, Amanda lead Information Security Operations at American Red Cross, where she was responsible for traditional security operations and identity and access management.

Amanda began her career as an Arabic linguist in the Marine Corps. While active, she began supporting Cyber Operations, which lead to her transition into Information Security. Following her time in the Marines, Amanda worked as a consultant with DC-based firms in support of DoD and IC Security engagements. With over 15 years of experience in strategic and operational roles, Amanda is a leader who defines and operationalizes strategic initiatives to improve Information Security programs.

Amanda holds a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University and is a CISSP.
