Sean Azhadi joined Arizona State Credit Union in 2013 and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (SVP/CIO). He is responsible for leading the organization’s technology strategy and managing the overall IT operations, while improving IT Architecture, Alignment, Agility, Ability & Security in order to Create Path to Transformation for the organization.

His initiatives since joining the company include improving service delivery through embracing effective and efficient use of technology; creating business models for delivering new services redundancy in service delivery; ESB & CRM initiatives; improving security; additional redundant data centers; Cloud initiatives; and leading strategic initiatives to transform the technology department to be flexible, adaptable and responsive to organizational needs.

Prior to joining Arizona State Credit Union, Sean was the Senior Technical Architect and Senior Vice President of Systems and Technologies for San Diego County Credit Union, a $7 Billion financial institution in San Diego, CA.

Prior to his 20 years of leading IT infrastructure for financial institutions, Sean also held Network & Systems Administration positions since early 1980’s for various companies. He has transformed many organizations technologies to the state of the art systems with full redundancy, security and backup solutions, while reducing cost and unnecessary overhead.
