2018 Marci McCarthy Cybersecurity Certification Scholarship Recipient
The Marci McCarthy Scholarship has opened many avenues for me. It not only gave me the chance to be recognized by my peers but to gain the respect from seasoned professionals in the cybersecurity industry. Quite frankly, being put in the spotlight has led me to being asked to speak on panels and present at conferences. I have also taken additional initiatives in my academics, pursuing other scholarships and leadership positions. Everybody’s story is different but I am grateful to have been a recipient, and I encourage other students to pursue this scholarship.
